Troubled pop singer Britney Spears is in secret talks over a 100m dollars comeback world tour, it has been claimed.

According to sources, the 26-year-old star is desperate to get back on the road and leave her recent troubles behind her.

Sources claim that the Toxic singer has already begun training for the mega-money shows with exhausting dance sessions at the Millennium Dance Complex.

Spears’ record label BMG are confident that she can restore her righteous image on the road.

But the source added that since her disastrous performance at the MTV VMAs in 2007, Britney has a lot to prove.

Neil Patrick Harris, who acted with Britney Spears in an upcoming episode of the hit TV show How I Met Your Mother, is all praise for the troubled pop star.

Contactmusic.com reports that Spears plays a secretary in a guest appearance on the show and Harris was impressed with her professionalism.

He said: "She is good. When we did the run through, she seemed a little nervous and wore big sunglasses the whole time. I think that's a bit of a security blanket. But she seems very professional."
